Celtic Speed were at Nurburgring on August 9-11 for the traditional Oldtimer Historic GP on the famous Nurburgring GP track.

The team were there with 2 cars, the Williams FW08 ex Rosberg Championship winning car which finished 9th in German GP of the 1982 season. The team also had the LMPC car for its 3rd race of the season. Both cars were driven by Tommy Dreelan and for the LMPC car he was joined by Aaron Scott.

Tommy qualified the Williams 8th in the Head category and went on to finish 7th in the race which saw a superb range of F1 cars including a number of Williams, Arrows, Tyrell and Brabham iconic GP cars. They certainly make a spectacular sight and sound!

The LMPC race was hotly contested and the team qualified the car 4th overall and 2nd in the LMP2 category. Tommy and team mate Keith Frieser enjoyed a superb battle throughout the race providing one of the best battles of the race  as the 2 LMPC cars swapped places. This was settled in favour of Tommy and Aaron who scored a 4th place overall result, 2nd among the LMP2 cars.

In race 2 Aaron started the race and pitted from the lead of the LMP2 category to hand over to Tommy, who went on to finish 2nd again in the LMP2 class, the teams LMPC car finishing narrowly behind the winning LMP2 car and just ahead of team mate Keith Frieser after an exciting finish.
